The compliance team ensures that our games fulfil the legal and technical requirements of the markets in which we operate. How do we do this? At an early stage, by analysing legislation & technical documentation. During development, to clarify any doubts that may arise in the requirements, in the quality phase through technical validation, to confirm that the implementation complies with what is specified in the legislation. We also manage the entire formal certification process for regulated markets, which is carried out through organisations accredited by the regulators (laboratories).
- Determines compliance by analysing regulations/standards, conducting and witnessing tests, performing diagnostic procedures, analyzing and evaluating findings, and performing forensic analysis and troubleshooting of failures
- Maintains dev team accomplishments by reviewing open issues and action items, coordinating actions, and contributing information and analysis to facilitate development Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging compliance engineering practices and standards, participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks
- Prevents compliance issues by collaborating with development and QA teams, reviewing design data, and developing compliance policies.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Degree in STEM and/or 4+ years of experience in the gaming industry
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Organization, project management, and strategic planning skills
- Excellent verbal communication and documentation skills
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in the English language
- Capable of adapting to quick shifting environments
